Our Story

We moved to our cabin in Twain Harte full-time around the year 2000, leaving traffic and long lines behind to enjoy the mountains and town we love. Twain Harte had been a favorite destination since the 1970s, a “base of operations” for family adventures with our young boys.

When we relocated, we switched from “vacation mode” to “work mode,” and Business First was born. Lin Manery, the founder, started the business focusing on business cards and office printing. With input from their sons and experience in the community, Lin and her husband Brad Manery realized the need for a “one-stop shop” where contractors and business owners could get crew apparel, vehicle and equipment signage, jobsite signage, and office necessities — all through a single contact.

Community Connections
Shortly after opening, we joined the Twain Harte Area Chamber and later the Tuolumne County Chamber, contributing to events, parades, concerts, committee work, and networking — making new friends and business contacts along the way.

Family-Owned & Customer-Focused
Business First is a true family business — Lin is the owner and founder, and Brad is her partner in operations, and even the grandkids join in when they visit. Personal customer service is our priority. From small, personal orders to large, challenging projects, Lin and Brad put care into every job.

Some of our most fun moments? Delivering a special birthday t-shirt, outfitting a camp or school, or filling an order of 1,000 printed T-shirts in a Subaru Forester for delivery. Nothing beats the smile on a customer’s face when they open their box!
